Since 1967, LMI has been thinking ahead.
At its inception, LMI produced high-end labels for two major clients. But soon after, founder Chester Sykes recognized the growth of heat seal and foil die-cut lidding in Europe. Seeing a huge domestic need for the technology, he immediately adapted to the changing marketplace. The company quickly grew beyond its original name, but we still see it as a symbol of where our standards of ingenuity and innovation began.
