New Vice President of Operations Hired by LMI Packaging Solutions, Inc.
LMI Packaging Solutions, Inc., a flexible packaging manufacturer that provides heat seal lidding and services for food companies, has hired Imran Mukhtar as Vice President, Operations. He will report directly to LMI Packaging Solutions CEO Jean Moran and will be a member of the company’s executive committee. Mukhtar brings valued expertise to LMI Packaging’s executive team with comprehensive experience in operational efficiency, quality assurance, process optimization, capacity management, inventory control and international management.
LMI Packaging Solutions supports the Boys and Girls Club of Kenosha after school Power Hour program.
LMI Packaging donated a big screen television to the Boys and Girls Club of Kenosha for its after school program at Brass Community School. Vince Incandela, who leads LMI Packaging’s corporate social awareness programs, coordinated the effort on behalf of the company.
LMI Packaging Solutions Hosts HACCP Training Course
LMI Packaging Solutions, Inc. hosted a day and a half training session on the development and implementation of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP). The training was given by Harry Field, from Professional Food Safety Ltd. LMI Packaging made the course available to both customers and Kenosha area companies.
LMI Packaging Solutions, Inc. announces Vince Incandela selected for Board of Directors of the Kenosha Area Literacy Council
LMI Packaging Solutions, Inc., a printer and converter of flexible packaging materials used in heat seal die-cut, roll stock, daisy-chain lidding, has announced that Vince Incandela was selected to be on the Board of Directors for the Kenosha Area Literacy Council. Mr. Incandela is currently Vice President of Operations and a member of LMI Packaging's executive management team reporting directly to CEO Jean Moran.
KABA and the Chamber Recognize Excellence in Business
The Kenosha Area Business Alliance and the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce held their 5th Annual Business Awards Dinner recognizing business and community excellence in Kenosha County November 7, 2009. The award winners were selected by a committee of past award winners and representatives from area educational institutions from nominations submitted by KABA and Chamber members.

LMI Packaging Solutions provides heat seal lidding solutions for many popular branded and private label single serve cups of yogurt, frosting, sauces and dressings. Founded in 1967, LMI relocated from Chicago to Pleasant Prairie in 1994. Their corporate headquarters and 79,000-square-foot manufacturing facility are located in LakeView Corporate Park.
Business Person of the Year: Todd Bundies, President, Badger Press Photographics, Inc.
Todd Bundies is the third-generation Owner and President of Badger Press Photographics, a full-service print provider founded in Kenosha in 1938. Todd learned the craft of printing at an early age from his father and other veteran employees. Since then, Todd has made several investments in innovative equipment to help Badger remain competitive and maintain a high level of quality.
Community Service Award: Peter Valeri, President, Valeri Agency, Inc.
Peter Valeri has had a positive influence on the Kenosha community through his support of and involvement in numerous area organizations including the Boys & Girls Club, Kenosha Christmas Charities (Goodfellows), the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce and many local youth sports programs.
KABA Volunteer of the Year: Patrick DeGrace, Hospira, Inc.
Pat DeGrace has been an active and valuable director on the KABA board since 2005, participating in KABA programming and making himself available for the KABA staff. Mr. DeGrace serves on KABA’s executive and nominating committees and was elected secretary in April 2008.
Chamber Volunteer of the Year: Melissa Rowley, Platinum Systems, Inc.
Melissa Rowley is an active Ambassador of the Chamber and a member of Y-LinK, Kenosha’s new Young Professional Group. She has been a participant in key Chamber committees and events including the Kenosha EXPO and the Business to Business Expo. Ms. Rowley has also assisted with Business After 5’s, ribbon cuttings, grand openings and the Member Orientation.

Founded by Jennifer Dooley in 2008, the firm provides include creative direction and design, consulting, brand analysis and strategy, media planning, special event planning and web development and marketing solutions.
Gordon Food Service
Gordon Food service is the largest family-owned food service distributor in North America, and is currently in its fifth generation of Gordon Family Leadership. Ground was broken on a new 480,000 SF distribution facility in Kenosha County in June 2008, and current plans are to begin shipping product in March 2010.
Uline, Inc.
Uline is the leading distributor of over 17,000 different shipping, industrial and packing materials, providing service to over 1 million customers internationally. Uline’s new 274,000 SF Corporate Headquarters and adjacent 1 million SF distribution center are currently under construction in Pleasant Prairie. The company plans to move into their new facility in June 2010.
